> What are the customs and duty charges?

All orders are being shipped as registered mail (trackable) from Singapore.
Therefore please be aware your country or national postal service may charge an
additional customs duty, import tax or handling fee. Thread & Chisel is not
responsible for any applicable duty, value added taxes (VAT), import
consumption tax or handling charged to you by your country or postal service.
Thread & Chisel is legally required to declare the full Dollar value paid on
international shipments. If problems occur please contact your local post
office or customs.

If the parcel is returned to sender as a result of being refused by the
recipient or not collected from the collection point, then the order may not be
eligible for refund.

Please contact your local customs office for more information regarding taxes
and duties payable in your region.

> Can you underdeclare so that I won’t have to pay customs?

We are sorry but we cannot underdeclare the cost of the item to customs, it is
not only against our brand integrity, we also risk getting in trouble and
getting fined by your customs authority in the case that they do check (online
or otherwise).

> Returns & Refunds

Please note that in the event of a rejected parcel or refund approved (on a
case-by-case basis), a deduction of shipping fees will be applied, with only
the nett amount to be refunded accordingly thereafter.
