Door protects green passport sense leather edge, entirely handmade. Dimensions
14 cm x 9.5 cm and 19 cm.

It was created by our group of Tuareg women from northern Mali who came
together to share their skills and creativity.

It is a traditional work, in fact, they are in charge of the work of leather
as the decorations of camels but also of the snuffs that wear proudly men.
Today they adapt their work according to need.

We are Touaregs, also called Kel Tamasheq.

We gathered in a group of artisans from many parts of Mali (Timbuktu, Kidal,
Ménaka, GAO), in order to unite our strengths and prosper together. Most of us
fled their home region to the North of the country because of the conflict. We
have recreated workshops in Bamako and continue to work with artisans who
stayed there to help them survive.

With the support of the NGO LIFE and the international cooperation Institute
(ICI), the Ministry of crafts and the Chamber of trades, but also yours, we
hope that this online sales project will be sustainable in order to make our
families live.
